Operational mode established

Six days done now, and I think I am getting the hang of it. Very simple machine actually, this baby thing. Input = milk. Output = poop. Warning sounds when more input needed. Sleep mode exists, although a little bit erratic in when it chooses to go on. As of yet I have not found an off-button (I blame bad user interface design).

There are some software bugs as well (I gather they are SW bugs?). The input-sleep mode cycle seems to suffer from quite much randomness. Yesterday, typically two-hour naps begun appearing after a good feeding (yes!). Today, four hours of feeding in a row in the afternoon. Then four hours of sleep. Then feeding and several hours of sleep again (still now). Let's see how the night goes, shall we.

But things are proceeding pretty well. We just returned from our first joint walk outside. (The New Zealandese strollers are brilliant, BTW. Very light to push!) Yesterday we saw the doctor, and everything was great (although I gather the main function was to see if the parents have a clue. Guess we passed). Already on Thursday, we saw our first visitors, when the local godparents came to see us. And things are so well that I was relieved of my duties to go play floorball last night.

She continues to be megacute, thankfully :-)

PS. Got rid of the pink background color for the blog. Yes, it was disgusting.
