Kilroy was here (and many more of you)

Two weeks ago I had become convinced that no one actually reads this blog because no one was commenting on anything. It is not too rewarding to feel that you write for no one. Not too much motivation to be funny, or even to boot up the computer. Then, I figured out that it would make sense to see what is really happening. So...

You have been seen! Hah!

Google Analytics tells me that there have been 36 different people viewing this blog since April 5th. Wow. That is a lot of folks, considering the fact that the blog has been mentioned to only family, friends, and close colleagues - and can't be indexed by search engines so it does not suck random surfers in. Thank you for your interest, all. Total of 99 visits in that time. Wow again. I need to keep up writing, it seems. I am hoping that soon enough I'll have something more interesting to say.

For anyone not wanting to be seen, do not worry. I do not know who you are. I just know where you live. And I know what you did last summer. No... that was something else... Right... Almost two thirds of visits originate in Finland, and the rest are divided unevenly between USA and Bahrain. Tampere is in the house. So is Scarsdale, San Diego, Kauniainen, Dallas, Nurmijarvi, Ardsley, Ylivieska, White Plains, and especially Helsinki. And some other exotic locations. Cool. I almost know where all those places are. No idea who those people are in all the locations. Exciting.

(and what does Kilroy have to do with it? You guessed it, check Wikipedia - for the answers to life, the universe, and everything)

Nurmijärvi! That's me stealing my employers time...

The locals keep telling me proudly that Nurmijärvi is the largest village in Finland. Things to be proud of: birthplace of Aleksis Kivi and having a rurally administrated population of 40 000. ou, and Matti Vanhanen!

Heh, joku on vieraillut kapteenien blogissakin Scarsdalesta 3 krt ja White Plainsista 2 kertaa. GA:n mukaan... Ketähän lie..

Yksi etelainen pieni yliopistokaupunki nayttaa osaavan jotenkin piilotella kapteenien listasta... Muutenkin vaikuttaa, etta GA:n paikannustarkkuudessa on parantamisen varaa.

Ilmoittaudun ahkeraksi lukijaksi :) Sain vinkin vasta hiljattain, mutta nyt käyn päivittäin ("...jokohan tänään alkaa tapahtua...?!?"). Pidän peukkuja ja elän hengessä mukana,

Terveisin
