Wow she is kicking a lot. And as the kicking part (plus hickups every now and then) is the only real interaction at the moment, it naturally leads to thinking and disucssions on whether something can be deduced of the kicking behavior. Theory 1: she moves whenever the one carrying her is not moving, but stops immediately when the carrier starts moving. This means she is lazy. Alternative explanation (boring, though) is that the movement lulls her to sleep or something. Theory 2: she is most active exactly at the moment when her mom goes to sleep at night. Implication is quite concerning to think about...
And of course, the first kick ever felt, several months ago came when the mommy accidentally turned on her stomach. So, a clear protest of do not come and try to take my space here. So we got a feisty little girl developing here.
Or most likely none of this means anything at all. But it is fun to think about it. Otherwise the expectation is pretty much routine at this point, but the thoughts are more and more concentrating on the birth - and we'll take the birthing classes in a week, so I am pretty convinced there will be some juicy anecdotes to blog about.
